| If you're interested in playtesting the next edition of D&D, you just need to sign a non-disclosure agreement and they'll email you the package. Signup link here. | |

| I have already gotten my playtest packet and went through it with a few of my buddies. Seems to me like a to AD&D with a splash of 3.5ed. Anyone else with any initial impressions of the system? Anyone play through the adventure yet? | |

| Make sure you are logged into your Wizards account while clicking the link. I had the same problem as well, then tried again when I was searching for assistance on the Wizards website and it mysteriously worked. | |

| I have to say that something in the FAQ made me wonder... Can I run an online game via email, Skype, Google Hangout or a play-by-post forum? No, you may not run an online game on third parties sites at this time. I mean... does that mean you can't actually playtest it with your friends online at all? Because that is what me and my group is getting from that. I have tried finding more about this on the WoC-forum but I haven't found anything. Me and my group use MapTools and Skype-calls when we play so it was a bit disapointing to see that we might not be able to play it together (if you care about the rules that is) As far as the system and everything I thing it's awesomeness on a stick so far. Somethings are questionmarks but I love they way they are going with it | |

As far as the system and everything I thing it's awesomeness on a stick so far. Somethings are questionmarks but I love they way they are going with it I am in the same situation. The main group of friends that I game with play through Maptools, and that is the group that I will playtest the rules through. Honestly Leffe, who is going to know? Now, I wouldn't go around posting the rules to community forums or passing around copies of the playtest or discussing the rules outside of Wizards of the Coast official forum, but you could easily have your friends sign up for the play test and get the exact same package as you so they are on the same page as far as rules and characters. IMO, if Wizards of the Coast wants honest reviews of the product, they should also what to know how it is being played and allow such things to happen. Anyway, I am loving the system so far as well. I have taken my group through the first layer of the adventure and they seem to like it as well. | |
