500 SUBS!!!

The Rhykker YouTube channel is about to (or just has) reached the 500 subscribers mark. I think I speak for everyone here when I say, that these past two and a half years (or whenever each of us viewers individually started watching) have been an amazing journey, one that we all have enjoyed. Congratulations are definitely in order for you reaching this milestone, needless to say, it is orders of magnitude less than you deserve, but it is a great "start" to the millions of people who will soon be watching!

Thanks osed (aka daveandkaze)! I think we have a great community of viewers, and we really appreciate all the kind words over the years, the views, the likes, the comments, the subs, the forum posts, the live-views... just everything.

You guys rock.

How should we celebrate 500 subs?

Another Q and A session?

A session where all of the decisions the Drogans have to make are actually made by the fans?

A giveaway of the Red Box or Keep on the Shadowfell adventure or a nice complete set of dice?

The fans idea would probably be challenging, I love what we do in the chat, but it's too chaotic, what with my constant shameless promotion of thing that I'm doing *COUGH*Wiki*COUGH*, Saga's literal insanity, Leffe's Obsession with all things Win'tyr and cute and cuddly and innocent, plus all the other people who I can't be bothered to learn or remember the names of (of Course I'm kidding) it really doesn't seem feasible. The giveaway would be challenging because of the hassle of international shipping. Though I do like the idea of a Q & A or maybe for the giveaway, instead of giving away something that's actually worth something give away a chance to design an NPC or RP an NPC for a session, or just join in on the skype call. Something of that sort. Two ideas that I had that I didn't want for a while now and have NOT been waiting on the edge of my seat for just such an opportunity as this to bring it up :shifty:, were to maybe get all the Players back together for a Q & A, (this might be difficult/ awkward depending on the reasons why some people left the group) OR maybe an extra long session, maybe one that starts in the A.M. so that John won't fall asleep an hour and a half into it

As insane as i may be i wouldn't force them to do anything too extreme, just follow through with our idea of encasing the dead Drogons body (Rekoj and sorrow) in amber... and possible Coltaine even if he is still alive. the Q&A session with all players seems like it may be a good idea, we would get to see Thomas again even if we don't get Jacques to go with him. The thought of an extra long session that lasts from AM however seems a bit much and i'm forced to wonder who would actually be able to sit and watch the whole stream, not counting who would be able to play it all day.

I really didn't mean to imply that the session would go from say, 10AM EST until they normally quit, I was more suggesting maybe a 4-5 hour session, and have it start early so John would be awake for at least most of the session. Speaking of our encasing in amber idea, I demand that when the 500sub special happens the Drogans and Nima and Corvus go and dig up everyone they've ever buried and cover them with several dozen Litres of honey and or tree resin.

Oh yeah I was wondering about that, because I heard on a session a while back that you could designa a villain and sence I do that all the time for my group it would be fun to try it but I couldn't find the thread for that. Can someone guide me in the right direction or tell me if it's already to late?

Ooooh. Just a misunderstanding. LOL. I re-read your post. For some reason I thought that if you won the contest of designing an NPC or villain you could join the chat and play them. My fault.

But of course my dear. There isn't a specific thread on the forum for it, but the information can be found in the beginning of session 15. CJ didn't give a specific date for the completion of the challenge, but I would assume that it's open until Maldrik Scarmaker actually appears in the campaign. (probably pretty soon)
If you don't want to go watch the video the instructions are as follows.
You will be designing Maldrik Scarmaker (if that's not how you spell his name let me know so I can use the nonexistent edit button.)
Describe his personality, mannerisms, physical appearance and anything else you think may come up with his interactions with the Drogans. (DO NOT include combat abilities, character stats or anything else that would generally be found on a character sheet.)

Basic information known so far about Maldrik
Leader of the Black Fanged Gnolls (assumed to have the rest of the slaves)
probably to be found in the depths of the well of demons
Assumed to be a Gnoll
