Do you think Rhekd was correct in searching the body of the tiefling for the so-called "password"? Or was it a waste of time and Rhekd should've just kept pinning the bronze warden with debuffs to help the others in the party?

Give us your opinion.

It's definitely worth searching for alternate ways to deal with giant 100 hp monsters that have some kinda of damage resistance.

I think Rhekd did the right thing. Besides, we needed him to stay unstunned, in case he needed to heal his party members.

In a different campaign, perhaps not.

However, in this campaign, a precedent has been set regarding the general ineptitude of villains and carrying important pieces of paper around on their person.

In other words...

If this were a different campaign, I'd say, "No one is stupid enough to carry the password on themselves when they know there's a chance of them dying/being captured." In this campaign, I can't say that. It turned out that this villain wasn't that stupid, but there existed a strong enough possibility that the search was worth the risk.

I think searching was a great idea, and it was completely worth stealing my idea that I kept shouting in chat about the Amulet controlling the Bronze Minotaur, it's not my fault that it didn't work, blame Coltaine for going into the trap in the first place. I don't think the De-buff stuns Rhekd, I'm pretty sure he needs to do actual damage.
