what is the weirdest thing that has happoned to you in a rpg?

so what is it?

I have actually been thinking of an answer and I can't actually come up with one. Why don't you start us off with one?

To be honest I haven't been involved in an rpg that involves other people for more than a year or two now. In fact, in true Coltaine-style, I can't remember when we started with the Drogans. I don't have a lot to draw on, but there have been a few strange moments.

1) Was playing in a campaign with an Eladrin Wizard. She was supposed to be Lawful Good, and then proceeded to spend sessions talking about revenge, murder of innocents, and asking questions such as "If we commit a crime, but no one notices, then it's not bad, right?." Best of all, this wasn't some kind of trolling behavior. The player was serious.

I know it isn't much, but it's definitely one of the stranger moments I've had playing D&D. I was really flummoxed by how ridiculous it was.

well i was game mastering 2 straight guys started playing and 2 bi guy when we ended and I'm asexual and i turned them bi through a table top game. how does that work?

I was going to say that I turned my character into an evil character in an old campaign with Rhykker as DM... but yeah, I think you've just won.

In a Dungeons and Dragons campaign that I joined quite late in an adventure, I met a player that from the moment they sat down at the table thought that they were their character. Only in a real creepy way. As I was being introduced to the players at the table this guy introduced himself as his character. When I asked him his real name, he replied with a blank stare and said again "I am Ur'sil, wizard and sage." Everything that he did and said at the table, even in roll play, happened as Ur'sil. He wouldn't answer to anything other than that name! I cringed the entire game. When the game concluded at the end of the day, he stood up and went back to being Joe. I couldn't get over the fact that 10min before the game ended, he really believed he could cast spells.

Talk about commitment. I'd rather have that than someone who never role plays at all
